Course Objective

The main purpose of this course is to train individuals who understand the approaches-models and processes of curriculum development for special talents and the relations between them, who can design programs in the field of special talents, and to examine the curriculum prepared for the relevant field.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to define the basic concepts of program development.
2   Be able to comprehend the theoretical foundations of curriculum development.
3   Be able to understand the importance of need analysis for program development.
4   Be able to create a program model by making use of different program models.
5   Be able to demonstrate target writing skills while preparing education programs for Special Talented students.
6   Be able to develop alternative curriculum approaches for gifted students.
7   Be able to differentiate the elements of education programs according to the needs of gifted students.
