Course Objective

Leadership is defined as "a process of influencing others to achieve a goal." The purpose of this course is for students to acquire knowledge about leadership so they can lead and follow more effectively and ethically. It will also help students continue the journey of self-discovery, a journey that lasts a lifetime if they choose to lead. Students may not be a leader after concluding this course, but they certainly will have a better understanding of the qualities of leadership.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to commetnt on individual and interindividual organization leadership
2   To be able to explain concepts such as multiculturalism, diversity, values, ethics, influence and power
3   To be able to explain the difference between leadership and management and ability to use this knowledge to use this knowledge to make strategic business decisions
4   To be able to support the healthy functioning, change, communication and motivation of the group, team and organization
5   To be able to evaluate the strenghts of leadership skills and to be able to develop a plan that can strenghten leadership skills
