Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students with basic knowledge on worker health and safety at work and to raise their awareness on the importance of the issue in the worklife.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To define basic concepts related to worker health and safety at work
2   To list the principles of protection from and prevention measures against occupational diseases and accidents.
3   To explain the responsibilities in worker health and safety at work
4   To explain the development of worker health and safety at work in the world and Türkiye
5   To evaluate the fundamental legislation on worker health and safety at work in Türkiye
