Course Objective

It aims to convey the understanding of the importance of biodiversity and the practices to be followed in its conservation.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Define the basic principles in conservation biology.
2   Define issues related to species concepts and speciation processes.
3   Understand the importance of biodiversity detection.
4   Able to apply conservation genetics approaches to conservation biology.
5   Ensure the elimination of negative factors, by learning the reasons for the extinction of living organisms.
6   Understand the importance of ethical issues in conservation studies.
