Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to increase knowledge and awareness of students with respect to special education regulations and practices.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Discuss legal regulations and effects of the regulations on special education practices in Türkiye.
2   Understand legal regulations regarding special education in different countries and discuss the impacts of various regulations on special education practices around the world.
3   Analyze the examples of special education practices around the world.
4   Compare special education regulations and practices affective in different countries with the special education regulations and practices in Türkiye.
