Course Objective

Students who want to work with infants and young children with visual impairment gain knowledge and skills about children's general development patterns and intervention programs developed for them.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The effects of visual perception on development and learning, 2   Developmental processes in children with visual impairment (motor, mental skills, social, language, self-care, independent movement and orientation, intelligence, personality) 3   Early intervention programs for visually impaired children and their families
