Course Objective |
Modernity, Violence and Politics critically examines th violent conflict: including war, genocide, state violence and terrorism; and conflict resolution. This degree explores the origins and the consequences of violence, and considers how conflict is memorialised. Drawing on philosophy, history and cultural politics you will learn about the war on terror, humanitarian intervention, the cold war and the two world wars. |
