Course Objective |
Personal beliefs and tendencies aside, religion is a socially important phenomenon. The aim of this course is how gender is perceived not only in Islam but also in Turkish belief system from history to the present; examine perspectives on gender differences in terms of scriptures, tradition and legal norms; to reveal whether certain distinctions arise from the essence of believes or from tradition and culture. |
