Course Objective

The course focuses on analyzing labor and labor movements in the context of globalization. The main aim of the course is to examine closely the effects of globalization on labor and the position of labor movements against globalization in the light of the data of theoretical and applied researches.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   At the end of this course, students effectively use the terminology related to globalization and labor.
2   Understands the basic theoretical approaches regarding the use of labor power in human history.
3   Explain the theoretical approaches related to the relationship between globalization and labor power.
4   They reveal the effects of globalization on labor and labor movements with its causes and effects.
5   Analyze the impact of globalization on labor and the labor movement in Türkiye.
