Course Objective

The aim of this course is to learn the cultural studies approach and its theoretical background and to be able to see and interpret their applications. Through these theories, it is to analyze social order and social relations through different forms of communication and culture, economy and mentality.

1   To learn cultural studies approach
2   To learn the theoretical background in cultural studies
3   To analyze different application areas of cultural studies
4   To be able to analyze social relations and transformation by using cultural studies perspective through different technology and communication styles.
5   To examine the national and international forms of theories and practices in this field.
