Course Objective

The objective of this course is to provide process of research in social sciences. The project motivates students and allows them to choose a topic that is both an extension of their Diploma studies and one which they have a personal interest in the maritime sector. It helps learners to become independent, reflective and self-evaluating.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students will be able to learn about the research process related to the subject determined by theirselves. 2   Students will be able to have interview techniques and skills with the public and private institutes and companies. 3   Students will be able to have the opportunity to collect comprehensive information about the sector which they want to work in the future 4   Students will be able to improve their business relations with the sector members. 5   Students will be able to have scienceethics when writing their projects.
