Course Objective

The objective of this course is to provide a background on the knowledge and skills related to manage in a cross-cultural global context. This course aims to provide the field s theoretical findings and practical applications in intercultural management and enables the students to apply this knowledge in a multicultural and multinational business environment.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To understand how people, groups, organizations, and societies become infused with culture
2   To understand the influence of culture on attitudes and behavior
3   To learn to recognize when cultural differences are affecting work relationships
4   To understand the typical reactions to cultural differences and learn strategies for responding productively and positively to cultural differences
5   To understand critical and creative thinking, problem solving, teamwork, and written and oral communication skills in an international context.
