Course Objective

This course aims to introduce conflict of laws and Turkish Code on Private International Law and International Civil Procedure. The course will focus on conflict of laws rules, international civil procedure, and international commercial arbitration.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   demonstrate understanding of main issues, legal concepts and rules of international private law in order to identify the legal issues.
2   be able to follow the current changes in the field in order to discuss the relevant topics.
3   be able to acquire the skills to work as a team.
