Course Objective

The objective of this course is to provide students with the necessary knowledge to translate multimedia texts; to make them aware of the linguistic, cultural and technical characteristics of multimedia texts; to enable them to develop awareness about the cultural and ideological dimensions of multimedia translation; to enable the students to make translations by combining the necessary software knowledge and translation knowledge related to the field

2   To learn necessary software knowledge for multimedia translation
3   . To learn linguistic, cultural and technical characteristics of multimedia translation and use these features on the purpose of translating

6   To evaluate cultural and ideological dimensions of multimedia translation
