Course Objective |
This course focuses on political, social, economic and cultural topics. Students are expected to follow, present and discuss in class the recent developments in the fields of technology, energy, health, immigration, human rights, nuclear and biological weapons, conflicts, ideological oppositions, dynamics of the changing world, life standard, economic crisis etc. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
Students will be assigned weekly to make preliminary research on topics in order to participate in class discussions. Each student will prepare an individual presentation. Attendance and participation will also be graded. |
