Course Objective

The aim of this course is to develop language skills that will enable students to read and understand English resources in the aviation field, to acquire English communication skills that can follow important topics of the sector by analyzing various publications on the air transportation industry and to use English terminology effectively in aviation.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learns grammar rules to keep up with current events related to civil aviation.
2   Uses English effectively from passenger services to operational services in ordinary and extraordinary situations.
3   Reads, understands and evaluates texts written in connection with an operation process at airports and works related to aviation.
4   Has the language competencies to follow the English aviation terminology.

2 Pre-flight: Pre-flight briefing, introductions, aircraft features
3 Boarding: Greeting passengers, boarding and loading, solving seating problems.

5 Cabin services and amenities: Meal service, on board sales, classes of service.

8 Health and medical issues: Health issues, remedies, attending sick passengers.
9 Safety and emergencies: Safety equipment, emergency procedures, air rage.
