Course Objectives Is intended by us, to gain competence to understand and explain the basic concepts related to the tourism industry to the students in our program, in general tourism courses.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. Knows the general concepts of tourism industry and other branches of science related to tourism;
2   2.Knows the historical development of tourism industry and the factors affecting the development of tourism;
3   3.Knows the types of tourism;
4   4.Understand the functions of tourism;
5   5.Knows the supply-demand relationship in tourism; To give information about touristic product by emphasizing its concepts.

5 5.The concept and characteristics of supply in the tourism sector.
6 6.The concept and characteristics of demand in the tourism sector.
7 7.The concept of the tourist district and tourist products.
