Course Objective

To address the style and content changes of art periodically with the definitions of art history discipline and art. Art Introducing the major gods, goddesses and heroes in Greek and Roman mythology, which are the subject of Western art, with their attributes over the Renaissance, Baroque and Neoclassical works of art.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knows the history ages
2   In this course, students will gain basic knowledge of art history by feeding from cultural history.
3   The important characters of the world of gods in Greek and Roman mythology will be learned through their descriptions and stories in Western art.
4   The student will be able to define the arts of Turkish societies in different geographies in the historical process.
5   Student 19.-21. will be able to define century art movements.
