Course Objective

To define business concepts, to determine their functions. To grasp the functioning of tourism businesses and to reveal their differences.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Business concept, historical development, types and classification,
2   They learn the legal environment of businesses, business objectives and management functions.
3   The aspects of tourism businesses' activities and common aspects of the business.
4   They learn management styles, management schools of thought, motivation theory and techniques.
5   Will be able to define business related concepts such as productivity, sustainability and innovation.
