Course Objective

The course aims to study medieval cronicles and historical sources classifying them according to category, time and language.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   to get information on literature of modern studies and main sources of medieval history
2   to interpret sources which support evaluation of medieval political, social and economic events
3   to analyze sources on eastern and western civilizations in the middle ages
4   to learn main concepts of sources on eastern and western civilizations in the middle ages
5   to evaluate place and importance of sources on eastern and western civilizations in the middle ages in historiography
