Course Objective

The aim of this course is to teach knowledge and skill of Ottoman paleography in high level to read archive documents and periodicals of the period.

2   recognize Ottoman historians and histories
3   know Ottoman archive of the Prime Ministership
4   know various Ottoman archives
5   define Kadı registers (şeriye registers) in Turkey and outside Turkey
