Course Objective

The aim of this course is to convey advanced level theoretical information and skills related to assessment of psychological disorders to students and to examine contemporary literature findings and discussions.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to comprehend basic information and concepts in respect to clinical assessment
2   To be able to define case formulation in terms of Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy (CBT) approach
3   To be able to exemplify CBT oriented assessment approach particular to psychological disorders,
4   To be able to define development of Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy and related basic concepts
5   To be able to explain and exemplify individual problems with basic principles of CBT
6   To be able to structuring psychological interviews in terms of CBT and to present examples
7   To be able to apply frequently used methods in CBT
8   To be able to review literature for the purpose of efficiency of CBT in specific psychological problems
