Course Objective

This course aims at introducing the History of New Turkish Literature (19.yy); its social, political, literary and cultural codes in general.

1   Familiar with 19th century Turkish Literature that tended to the West in general.
2   well-informed of styles used in texts in this age.
3   well-informed of movements by which authors of this age were influenced.
