Course Objective

To learn the historical process of Turkish fiction, fiction theories and fiction analysis methods and to be able to analyze text examples of fiction genres.

1   Learn Turkish fiction tradition and first representatives (Tanzimat Fiction).
2   Learn the function of fiction genres which made change in Turkish literature and school of thought
3   Comprehend the development of Turkish fiction from Servet-i Fünûn and post
