Course Objective

The concept of cancer, cancer development, genetic predisposition, environmental factors, microbiology and cancer, History of cancer epidemiology, Epidemiology of cancer in the world, Epidemiology of cancer In Turkey, Basic concepts in cancer epidemiology studies, In particular interpretation of epidemiological results for cancer

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Acquire basic epidemiology, clinical and genetic cancer epidemiology knowledge and ability to practice of the epidemiological techniques.
2   Be able to know the etiology of cancer.
3   Be able to know clinical and genetic cancer epidemiology
4   Be able to understand mechanism of carcinogenesis
5   Be able to statistically evaluate the literature studies and criticizes them.
6   Be able to work in teams associated cancer research and development centers.
