Course Objective

The aim of the course is to understand the impact and global outcomes of population movements and population sizes on the social structure and to gain a perspective to develop scientific solutions to population problems.

1   Students are provided with an overview of the human population.
2   The development of demography as a science is explained.
3   It is taught how social institutions adapt to the population.
4   The outcomes of the global spread of population movements are taught.
