Course Objective

The course focuses on the sociological analysis of urban and migration phenomena with examples from the world and Türkiye. In this context, the focus will be on the city, the historicity of cities, urbanization, urban theories, migration, types of migration and migration theories. Afterwards, the main aim of the course is to discuss urbanization and migration dynamics in the light of their different dimensions and current problems.
