Course Objective

To examine economi as a basic dynamic of the emergence of modern societies wiith sociological perspective and to understand its central role to make social analysis.

1	to understand economy as one of the major dynamics of social change
2	to relate economy with other social fields
3	to understand the role of economy in the emergence of modern socities
4	to understand the emergence of capitalism in Europe to make comparison to Turkish experience of capitalism
5	to make analysis of today s forms of capitalism
6	to understand social and cultural reflections of capitalist crisis in the different parts of world
