Course Objective

The main aim of the Research Methods and Techniques in Social Sciences II course is to apply the theoretical knowledge that students have learned about scientific research methods in the spring semester in the field / field. Together with the lecturer of the course, students choose a research topic and learn by applying a research project from the beginning to the end of scientific research.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To learn the selection of the research topic and question and the construction of the research question according to different methodological approaches,
2   To conduct an effective and critical literature review,
3   To use Mendeley or Citavi software effectively to conduct literature searches,
4   To decide on the research unit, methodological approach and data collection methods in accordance with the research topic and question,
5   Collecting data from the field using data collection techniques,
6   To decipher the data obtained and provide data entry for data analysis,
7   To analyze the data collected from the field through SPSS, Maxqda or Nvivo software,
8   Writing the research report with all the findings obtained.
