Course Objective

The goal of this class is to understand issues around health in Turkey and globally in terms of globallization and development. Finally, we will offer possible solutions to current problems.

1   To become aware of the major approaches to health and illness.
2   To become familiar with the theories and contributions of major figures in the field.
3   To learn to appreciate the necessity of a multi-level explanation of health behavior.
