Course Objective

The main purpose of the Sociology of Social Work Course is to deal with social work practices in the world and in Türkiye with basic concepts and theoretical approaches within the framework of the relationship between sociology and social work fields.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   They acquire basic information about the field of social work.
2   Learns the theories related to the field of social work.
3   Gains a critical perspective on the field.
4   Will be able to relate sociology and social work fields.
5   They can apply research methods and techniques to social work issues by gaining a sociological perspective.
