Course Objective

The aim of this course is to enable students gain current knowledge and skills about health assessment, health history, observation, interview and physical assessment, and improvement the knowledge and skills, and able to describe relationship between health assessment and nursing process.

1   The student discusses aims of physical examination
2   Individuals can prepare for the examination as physical and psychosocial
3   Methods of physical examination may explain
4   The students can discuss the importance of cultural differences affecting physical examination approach
5   The students can recognize abnormal findings in the structure and function of the systems
6   The students can make systematic physical examination and interpret the findings

In the exams, the abilities of interpreting, remembering, taking a decision, explaining, classifying and combining the information will be evalauted.
