Course Objective

The aim of the internship is to provide the students the opportunity to practise their
theoretical knowledge and acquire required skills in the field. Students are expected
to work as interns in museums or relatd institutions and get work experience as
professionals. Student will have the opportunity to practise their theoretical
knowledge and skills in the fields exhibition, conservation and restoration of small
objects, storage and recording and numismatics which will be very beneficial for them
in their future career as professionals.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Students have to work as interns in the summer after their sixth semester. The duration
of internship is a month (20 work days- 160 work hours)

1. 3.sınıftan 4.sınıfa geçen (6.yarıyılını tamamlayan) her öğrencinin yaz stajı yapması
zorunludur.
2. Yaz stajı Bahar dönemi derslerinin bitişinden sonra Güz dönemi dersleri başlayana
kadarki dönemde yapılır. Derslere devam zorunluluğu olduğu için anılan tarihler dışında
staj yapılamaz
