Course Objective

The aim of this course is to introduce students to museum-based learning theories and to enable students to develop teaching programs that can be applied in museums.

1   Develop thinking skills that will help them to make a museum based curricula
2   Develop communication skills that will assist them and their future students in understanding their world and their roles as learner of museum
3   Learn planning and assessment procedures for effective, integrated, and functional museum plans

Assessment Criteria

Students will be evaluated through a midterm exam, a final exam and a museum activity they will prepare. The content and plan of the activity will be shared with the students during the course. There is no special evaluation method other than these.
