Course Objective

To enhance the skills of being able to establish the issues of historical environment conservation and being able to document the selected case, brought within the context of the course MZC 2001.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Ability to explain the issues encountered in historical environment conservation.
2   Ability to classify conservation issues in monument / fabric oriented manner.
3   Ability to prepare the inventory forms of historical structures settlements, monuments and so on.
4   Ability to make documentation by measurement within the context of the selected sample.
5   Ability to make written, visual, oral documentation of the selected sample.

5 Conservation issues of the historical environment. - Conservation problems of historical structures.
6 Museum houses and conservation problems.
7 Sites having the characteristics of outdoor museum and conservation problems.
8 Documentation methods. - Documentation by measurement. Midterm exam.
9 Documentation methods. - Documentation by measurement.
10 Documentation methods. - Preparation of inventory forms.
