Course Objective

This course aims to gain the ability to create an inventory of coins, which constitute the most dense group of artifacts in Turkish museums. Within the scope of the course, the political and economic history of the Turkish States that ruled in Anatolia from the XI th century until the end of the Ottoman Empire will be emphasized, and examples of coins minted in this process will be introduced.
