1 Static and dynamiccharacteristicsof the measurement system. Electricaltheory (Ohm's Law, capacitance): bio-electric potential (electrocardiogram, elektroencephelograph)
2 Bio-electrodes: electrode-electrolyte interface, polarization, potentialmonitoringelectrodes
3 Biosensingelements:enzyme-based biosensors, antibody-based biosensor-s, Nucleicacid-based biosensors, cell-based biosensors
4 transducers: transduction, signal acquisition; Heat transfer; conduction, convection, radiation
5 Biophysicalperceptionelectrodes(surface electrodes, micro-electrodes). Mechanicaltransducers: pressure, flow.
6 Fluiddynamics; "Shear stress" andstress, viscosity,Poiseuille's law, Reynold's number.
7 Biotransport: fluid compartments, concentration, pressure, bodypH,diffusion(self-diffusion, facilitated diffusionand activediffusionandtransport), Ozmosis: osmolarity, tonicity, osmotic pressure, osmolar-meters, membranetransport
