Course Objective

Disaster risk management is the first and the most important step of the disaster management process. Disaster risk management is significant for managed public resources and mitigated irreparable damages after disaster occured. Central and local governments have more responsibilities related with disaster risk management. This course purpose to upskill students systematically to manage disaster risk.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to recognize risk mangement structures in Public Administration
2   Be able to describe risk management concept in disasters
3   Be able to cognize and practice risk management tools
4   Be able to measure risk magnitude
5   Be able to classificate risks,
6   Be able to describe the importance of risk management in the process of disaster administration
7   e able to evaluate performance of risk management and cognize integrated risk management
