Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to attain basic knowledge about the built environment and also architectural mantraps existed in these environment, to the students from different disciplines. Negative effects of these man made barriers for space users and also various problems at disasters depends up on these architectural barriers are main subjects in this course. Giving to the administrators the necessary information and the abilities in order to have them ready in case of the risks at disasters, may occur because of these type of architectural barriers is also the main purpose of this course.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Get knowledge about built environment;
2   Obtain awareness about architectural traps;,
3   Become conscious in the subject of various users of spaces
4   Obtain awareness in the subject of interaction man and environment at disasters
5   Obtain awareness of importance the regulations on space and its
6   Assume the responsibility about these subjects

5 Space and men interaction: viable problems in disasters and their solutions;

7 Public spaces: Buildings for these functions such as health, education, tourism, commertial, cultural and recreational;

10 Legal arrangements and regulations;
11 Students presentation: Public spaces in disasters, various users, and architectural mantraps, discussions;
