Course Objective

Specifying the main frame of philosophical hermeneutics and how it effected the twentieth century's thought movements, based on Hans-Georg Gadamer's master piece Truth and Method.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to comprehend the general thought systematics of Gadamer.
2   Being able to specify the common and different points between Gadamer's view and the classical idealist approach.
3   Being able to discuss and transfer the solution offers.
4   Being able to catch new philosophical problems.
