Course Objective

An introduction to the experimental analysis of natural human behaviour and its neurobiological basis. Behaviour is examined in an evolutionary context, and questions are focused on the neural processes. The course is comparative and strives to identify common principles in sensory and motor processing and brain function.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Describe central nervous system and its organisation
2   Describe structure and function of the brain
3   Explain Endocrine System, The glandular systems.
4   Describe biochemistry of behaviour.
5   Describe relationship between memory and innate or learned behaviors
6   Review Neurobiological Models.
