Course Objective

The aim of the course is to reveal the importance of criminology in terms of criminal law and to discuss the causes of various crimes by examining them in terms of criminology.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understanding the subject, purpose and quality of criminology
2   To know the relationship of criminology with other branches of science
3   Understanding the importance of criminology in combating delinquency
4   To be able to examine the theories explaining the reasons of crime in criminology
