Course Objective

To introduce the relationship between human rights and the rule of law. This class will be focusing on historical, social, philosophical and sociological aspects of the issue.

1   To be able to define the rule of law.

3   To be able to develop an understanding on the social and the historical basis of human rights
4   To be able to explain the rise of modern law systems and human rights
5   To be able to interpret the relationship between human rights and rule of law.
