Course Objective

The aim of this course is to be able to identify emotions, imagination, pleasure and desire of the literary works known as daydream and to win the ability of character analysis with the help of psychological data.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to comprehend the relationship between psychology and literature
2   Be able to define psychological elements reflected in novels, poems and theater
3   Be able to evaluate literary works from the focus of psychology
4   Be able to determine reflecting emotion, imagination, pleasure and desire which are described as 'daydream' by Freud in the literary works
5   Be able to do character analysis in the literary works or any other written scripts with the help of psychological data
6   Be able to have the literature about psychological novels
