Course Objective

The aim of this course is to examine basic concepts of cognitive psychology and its relationships to cognitive sciences and neuropsychology.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to describe basic concepts in relation to cognitive psychology.
2   Being able to describe main theories in relation to cognitive psychology.
3   Being able to summarize basic principles of cognitive processes.
4   Being able to explain the relationships of cognitive psychology to different subfields of psychology and other related disciplines.
5   Being able to compare the differences and similarities of cognitive psychology with/from other subfields of psychology.
6   Being able to explain how cognitive concepts are used in real life within the framework of basic theories of cognitive psychology
