Course Objective

The student who completes this course gets knowledge about the assessment of the individuals who have acute and chronic cardiopulmonary problems. Conceive the proper decision making about treatment methods by interpreting the data taken from the assessments.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   He/she knows how to assess the signs and symptoms of the patients with cardiopulmonary problems.
2   He/she assesses the clinical and laboratory findings of the patients with cardiopulmonary problems.
3   He/she interprets the laboratory tests and the data defining functional capacity of the patients with cardiopulmonary problems.
4   He/she assesses the quality of life of the patients with cardiopulmonary problems.
5   He/she assesses the physical fitness of the patients with cardiopulmonary problems.
6   He/she assesses the physical activity level of the patients with cardiopulmonary problems.
7   By interpreting the data, he/she conceives the proper decision making about treatment applications. He/she defines the cardiopulmonary system biomechanics
