Course Objective

To develop their knowledge on the pathophysiology of cancer and medical treatment, symptomatic treatment and physiotherapy-rehabilitation strategies and increase the ability of analytical thinking in this regard to prepare research projects

1   Defines basic concepts and principles of cancer rehabilitation
2   Knows the indications and contra-indications for cancer rehabilitation
3   Knows oncological diseases and medical treatment approaches
4   Knows the complications of oncological diseases
5   Knows and apply evidence-based assessment and physiotherapy methods in different cancer diseases
6   Knows the teamwork in rehabilitation
7   Defines for differences of physical therapy in pediatric and adult cancer diseases
8   Knows and applies the role of physiotherapy in palliative care
