Course Objective

The objective of this course is to demonstrate how philosophy handles the concept of mind in terms of its existential structure and its function in cognitive process and to investigate the main discussions about the mind in history of philosophy.

1   At the end of this course, the student will be able to define the concepts of philosophy of mind
2   Distinguish the questions of philosophy of mind
3   Distinguish the problems of philosophy of mind
4   Analyze the philosophy of mind by showing the difference between philosophy of mind and other discipline in philosophy
5   Evaluate the basic problems of philosophy of mind.
