Course Objective

The objective of this course is to introduce various literary theories.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   By the end of this course the students will be able to apply the theory of literature as cultural ecology;
2   To analyze the cultural critical metadiscourse;
3   To analyze literary texts by using related theories;
4   To use his/her knowledge about the cultural critical identity of the imaginative counter-discourse;
5   To use his/her knowledge about texts in American Literature.
