Course Objective

Increasing students' predictions, developing ways of reaching life goals, instilling awareness of nature, providing concentration, using time.

1   To be able to define orienteering, to be able to explain its purpose and types
2   To be able to organize a competition by determining an orienteering course in accordance with the rules
3   To be able to compete in orienteering competitions
4   To be able to prepare a map for orienteering competition

Assessment Criteria

Reading the Map, Knowing the Compass and Directions. Ability to correctly connect the map and compass in the field. Being able to find where the land is on the map. Knowing the techniques of reaching the goal and training techniques. To be able to prepare an orienteering map for lower age groups. Ability to read legend.

Participation is required on time, with appropriate clothing and materials. Participating in 3 races during the term. Campus - Inciraltı - Land (Forest)
